First try emptying your fuel tank completely in a jerry can, then refill with fresh petrol from a known good quality fuel station, if it doesn't improve then remove the fuel pump and replace the fuel filters, a very easy job , you just need to take care replacing the o-ring/refitting the fuel pump so you don't damage the o-rings.
Then just remove the plug from the 1/2” diameter hose that appears it was designed to be an open to the air vent tube poking out below the bike. 2. plug the one line under the seat.. then reroute the small tank vent hose from the rear cowl to dump down under the middle of the bike with all the other vent hoses and leave the 1/2” hose

Parts need for the conversion from the 1190 are the tank, side panels and inner panels. I'm hearing the S1000 is a thirsty engine and only gets around 30mpg---so only about 150 range per tank. True? If so, I'll have to pony-up the extra cash to go with a 2022 KTM 1290 Super Adventure S when it comes out next year with it's 6 gallon tank and comes in at 40mpg. I want a bike to have fun in the canyons and that can tour too.
